GOD’S VIEW ABOUT WORK

A lot of people don’t like their jobs. They go to the office sad, disappointed, depressed and unfulfilled. But on Sundays and the other days when we go to church, we are excited, and even anointed. God did not design us to live a different life on Sundays and another type of life on the days we work.
God wants you to be anointed in church and in the work place.

Why Does God Want Me To WORK?

·        So That I Will Not Be A Burden To Others:
2Thessalonians 3:7-8,12(NKJV)
God does not want any of us to be idle or to be a burden to others. When we work and earn income, we will not be a burden to other people.

·        So That I Can Provide For My Family:
1 Timothy 5:8 (NKJV)
God wants me to work so that I can feed, clothe, and take care of my household, my children, my partner and other family members.
It is only by working that we can do this God’s way.

·        So that I Can Be Generous To Others:
Ephesians 4:28 (NLT)
You cannot give what you don’t have. God wants you to work so that you may have to give to others in need. Don’t be among those that are always asking and taking, be a giver; be the answer to someone’s prayer by giving. And you give from what you worked for.

·        So That I Can Gain Self-Respect:
proverbs 22:29 (TLB)
When you look at the result of your work, you get a sense of satisfaction that begging or sponging from people will never produce.
Working  gives satisfaction, a sense of self-respect, value and a sense of accomplishment and self worth.

·        So That I Can Showcase God’s Love:
1 Corinthians 16:14 (TEV)

God does not want you to work just to earn money. God wants you to exhibit love through your work. Love the people you come in contact with as you work; love your boss, love your customers, love the people you serve and the people that serve you. As you do your work let God’s love flow through you to everyone you meet.
