WILL YOU MARRY A WOMAN OLDER THAN YOU? CAN YOU MARRY A MAN YOUNGER THAN YOU?

Over the years, I’ve had issues trying to answer the above question. And because of that, I’ve had to ask men and women what they think!

Why most men agree they can marry a woman older than them, 45% of them say they cannot.

For the women, a huge number of them never get to answer straight. They come up with answers in this form! ”If it is the will of God, why not’’.

Although one would not be able to come to a conclusion until they are faced with a similar situation, there are things you should look out for before making your judgment.

CHARACTER: Character exceeds beauty. Every man desires a woman with good character and upbringing; so, a man may happily accept a woman older than he is if she portrays a good character.

MATURITY: Women love matured men. Men that can speak for themselves without been controlled by people. Men that can take responsibility and speak up without running to momma or daddy. So, an older woman would gladly accept a younger man if he is lovable, teachable and carry himself like a king and treat her like a queen (not a rude or proud person)

RESPECT: Everyone like to be respected; and respect is one important attribute why a man would always accept to marry a woman older than him and a woman marrying a younger man.

Though the woman is older, the man wants to be treated with regard and respect just like a king; likewise the woman wants to be treated like a beautiful queen and not reminded how old she is.

Respect in this case goes a long way because even when issues arise, the respect they have for each other will keep them going.

FEAR OF GOD: Anytime any day, the fear of God exceeds all thing. The fear of God is the respect for God, the regard you give to Him, the love and act of generosity you carry as He hath commanded. So, a man would gladly marry a woman older than he is if she fears God; vice versa an older woman can accept a man that fears God knowing he won’t abuse her someday or hit her. What do you think?
