Show Excellence
Bible text: Proverbs 22:29

Excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.
It is expected of every Christ follower to show a level of excellence in their various activity.
Our Bible text talks about standing before Kings and not mean men.  That is what excellence can do. The pursuit of excellence is never a matter of simply choosing between what is good or bad, but of choosing what is best or superior because it will better enable us to accomplish what God has designed us to be and do.
No matter what you do and when you do them, always show a level of excellence.
At your work place, relationship, career etc.
Most people carry out their various task without making sure it is a good one. You must be different.
When given a particular task, do them well and make them look nice. Don't do it because you want to do it; do it because you are an excellent person and do it well.
Your walk with the Lord should also be an excellent one. It should be your nature.
Today and every other day of your life, choose to be an excellent person. An excellent person won't do things any how; he will do them, but in a different way unique and better.
If Noah built his ark anyhow, many that were saved through him wouldn't have experienced such great safety. He didn't just build, but took his time to build with the help of God and exactly how God instructed him(see Gen 6:13-22).
That is why you must invite God in your every activity. Invite Him to lead, direct and teach you. You are an excellent person; so also should be your work.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, verily, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for today's teaching. Please help me to be an excellent person. Let my work be an excellent one. Amen.
