GOD WANTS YOU WELL

Beloved, God desires that we enjoy good health in our bodies and minds.

He wants us to be well in our spirit, soul and body. Through  reading the scriptures, we came to understand that God created us to prosper, to enjoy life and to be whole. It gives Him great pleasure when we enjoy good health.

If you read through (Exodus 23:25) it was clearly stated thus “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

From the above bible passage, it is the will of God that you remain in good health. When you are sick and say it is because of your past sin and deeds, know that it is the lie of the devil.  If you have surrendered totally to God, you no longer have a past. Old things are past away and you are made new in Christ. God doesn’t try you with sickness.  God cannot be the cause of your illness.

Most times you hear most people say ‘’God wants to humble me with this sickness”… Hey, you need to watch it. There are better things God can use to humble someone and not sickness. It is His will that you prosper and be in good health. He wants you sound and healthy.

For us to enjoy health, we must understand that God is the source of our healing (Exodus 15:16, Exodus 23:25-26).

Our experience of health begins with knowing that good health is God’s will for us, see (Psalm 41:2)

We don’t enjoy good health when our foundation belief is faulty or dead. What we believe determines the kind of experience we have. Thus, for us to experience God’s will, His word must shape our belief system.

The bible shows us in Romans 5:17 that sicknesses and diseases came into this world as a result of man’s disobedience. Sickness and disease were not part of God’s plan for man. A lot of Christians have been deceived to believe that sickness is God’s way of teaching us a lesson or glorifying Himself but the truth is that Satan is the source of sickness (Job 2:7). Sickness doesn’t come from God (Luke 13:16). We must know and accept this truth.

      THERE ARE VARIOUS CAUSES OF SICKNESS SUCH AS:

1       SATANIC ATTACK: Satan is on a mission to steal, kill and destroy and one of such ways that He does this is to attack people with sicknesses and diseases (Job 2:7).

2       Family Traits: Certain sicknesses are hereditary and could be passed down through generations in families. God’s covenant with us overrules every genetic disorder that could be present in our families.

3     THE FALLEN NATURE OF THE WORLD: When Adam sinned, mankind lost God’s glory and became fallen. As a result of this, man has become susceptible to viruses, bacteria and all sorts of harmful organisms that God originally gave him dominion over. These viruses and harmful organisms can cause sicknesses    

               

    HUMAN ERROR: Humans are limited in knowledge and understanding, so we are prone to make poor decisions or make errors in judgement. The human nature is highly depraved, thus mistakes in life are inevitable.

Whatever you do or go through, always have the right knowledge that God wants you well. He has called you for a purpose and that purpose can only be fulfilled if you are in

stable condition. God bless you and cause every sickness to depart totally in Jesus name.
