Purpose And Destiny Devotional

Victory Over Fear 1
Bible text: 2 Timothy 1 : 7
 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

In the world today, people are living in fear. Many are already gone because of fear. Fear is a killer. Fear can take away your joy and peace; but after today, no longer shall fear have dominion over you.
You must realize that fear is not of God. Yes. Fear is not of God for God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) 
Many individuals are scared of  cockroaches. The moment they sight one, they believe the devil is here. They believe someone from their village is chasing them. If they had misunderstanding with someone before going to bed, they believe he/she sent them. How about cats, rats etc.. 
Although we must be careful when we come across these insects and animals, as some of them are threats, we shouldn't allow them make us lose sleep. 
Some are scared of taking positive steps to fulfilling their calling and vision. They are afraid of failure and people laughing and mocking them. 
Never should you be afraid of such. The fear of failure would never go. Why not do what God is asking you to do still feeling afraid? Take the step. Start that organization. Enroll in that catering school; just do it and see how far you would go. 
You are no longer a snare to fear. You are a child of God.

Deuteronomy 31:6 
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for today's teaching. I surrender totally to you. Save me from fear. Give me peace. Give me love. Give me joy. Amen.
