STOP BEGGING FOR LOVE..
STOP CHASING LOVE...
LET LOVE CHASE YOU....
STOP CHASING LOVE...
LET LOVE CHASE YOU....
Many Years ago when I gained admission into the university of Port Harcourt, it was a lovely experience as I was moving into a whole new environment. I spent almost 3months getting a place to stay and registering with my faculty and department since we were new into the system. The bank cue for paying fees was a long one as almost the entire students wanted first bank; that was how I met Yemisi(not real name)
I assisted Yemisi during the registration process and we soon became friends; good friends I must say.
Yemisi soon opened up to me and told me how much she loves me and wanted a relationship with me. It was so funny because I thought she was joking . That was the very first time I saw a lady ask a guy out; and beside, I never dated before since I spent my entire secondary school days in a (just) boys seminary boarding school here in Nigeria.
It was getting out of hand because our friendship was crashing and the whole thing was becoming tougher and tougher by the day. I soon opened up to her and told her how I felt because I feel for every relationship or dating process, both party must duly accept each other or nothing good can ever come out of that relationship.
Yemisi was young and beautiful; and for most young men in 2016, that is an opportunity to take advantage of a girl who pours out her heart to loving you.
I wasn't in-love with Yemisi and going into a relationship with her would only cause her more and more pain if tomorrow I end up calling off the relationship after wasting her time and allowing her miss potential men who wanted not just a relationship but a life-time union.
I insulted Yemisi, abused her and called her names. I remember calling her a boy chaser( a person who chases after guys instead of the other way round) I wasn't born again then, so words and insult never stop coming out of my mouth(lol)

Yemisi paused a little but she never gave up. After so many other attempt that failed, Yemisi gave up and stopped talking about the love thing;but that didn't stop her from calling to say hi.
Fast forward 2016, Yemisi is married with two kids and a lovely family while her then Mr school love is yet to marry talk more bearing kids.
N/B: No matter how many people that reject you, there is one person out there who would never reject you.
I remember telling Yemisi she had mouth odour; but today, a man is married to her and doesn't care about what I think or thought about his beloved Yemisi. Don't allow people define your life. When people reject you, wake up and move on. No one is a god over you. Stop begging for love or chasing love. When it is your time, love would find you. When it is your time, a man or woman that finds you worthy would accept you. Believe me, no one is ugly; it takes the right person to see the beauty in you every other person cannot see.
Allow God define your life and conquer your world.
