THE ACT OF GREATNESS

Everyone wants to become great. If you ask young people and relatively older men or women who are yet to experience one level of success and progress in their career or field, one thing you hear them pray and long for is greatness.

Greatness is the desire of every man or woman.

The word greatness or to be great, is not a mere say approach to achieve.  To be great, you must be willing to do some certain things. You must be willing to pay the price. Paying the price doesn’t necessary mean engaging in illegal means to achieve greatness; but you must be willing to do what others may find hard to do.

        THE GREATNESS APPROACH

         BE WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE:  People who achieve greatness or want to experience one, always pay the price. Greatness doesn’t knock on your door to say I am Mr Greatness.

It doesn’t come to people who sleep all day and wake up at night only to find out that it is way too late. Too many people are not willing to pay the price; they
  want things to come to them without any effort. I believe so much in GRACE which is the unmerited favour of God. God wants to see that you are willing and able to handle greatness before He gives you one. A father doesn’t will his entire property or estate to his minor son or daughter. He hands it over to someone or a court of jurisdiction who in turn

watches and nurtures the estate till the child is mature enough to handle it. So in other to achieve greatness, Pay the price and be willing to conquer your fears and gain victory.

                        
         BE WILLING TO START SMALL: Let me tell you a 
short story. A man started a business in 2012, he always dreamt of becoming great and rich; but he was too desperate and was not patient. When he was not making much gain, he simply closed the business after 3 months. He wanted quick cash.

To achieve greatness, you must be willing to start small. Starting small should come with passion. If you have passion for something, pursue it duly and be patient. Most new businesses and small great thin

gs make little or no gain at the initial stage. People who never had passion for such business always give up and close down. Starting small is not a bad thing, but you must never end small. Find ways to increase and improve yourself, work on your network and find people who are currently doing what you do and 

communicate with them. When you communicate with other successful people in your field, you become busy at improving yourself and becoming successful just like them. Don’t give up when you start little, but find ways to achieve greatness.

        YOUR RELATIONSHIP: You must have asked what have relationship got to do with greatness!

Have you come across the word ‘’Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are’’

Great people do not hangout with people who don’t bring out the best in them. If you want greatness, you must learn to hang around people who do what you do; or want to do what you want to do (hope you understand)

There is a possibility that when you hang around great people, you become great. Your relationship and greatness work hand in hand. If you follow the wrong people, the possibility of becoming one of them is greater than the possibility of not becoming like them.

If I hang around people who speak negatively about everything, the possibility of speaking like them is so high; but if I hang around positive people and people who bring out the best in me, the possibility of speaking positive things about life and my situation is enormous and not long, those words begin to make meaning and add value to my life.

 Greatness can be achieved. People who achieved one
or who are making effort to achieve one are people
 just like you and me. I believe whatsoever you desire, it is possible to achieve.
