YOUR SOURCE OF JOY

What really is your source of Joy? What makes you happy and rejoice; in that whenever you remember them you shout for Joy and smile?
Is your source of Joy your Car? Is it your house? Is your source of Joy your kids? Is it your Job? Is it your spouse? What is it?

Many of us focus more on the physical things we can see. We see our source of Joy as that thing we can feel, touch and speak about.
We depend and trust so much in what we have and have acquired without really giving much regard to the real source of Joy.

 Our God becomes pained when we hold the things he has given us in high regard without acknowledging him as the  NO1 source of our Joy.

Beloved, everything we ever own or acquire is from God. Whether we believe it or not, God provided them all.
Who then is your source of joy?

  People kill themselves and fight on the express way when someone hit their car. They've come to love their car so much that any scratch that affects the car definitely affects them.
They forget  to acknowledge God who first has given them a car, and who also spared their life from accident.
We have materialized everything in that when we loose a Job, we cry so bad because we have relied solely on that Job without acknowledging first the one who gave us the Job. Oh no wonder we become scared whenever a threat comes from our boss or the human resource manager informing us about a new development or retrenchment of staffs.
Who is your source of Joy?

Only God can fit in as your source of Joy.
God has provided everything you ever have for your enjoyment, but when you worship those things more than you do to him, it becomes erroneous.
Your Job is not your source of Joy. Your car,houses, cash at hand and in the bank is not your source of Joy.  God is your source, God is your Joy.
When you loose everything you ever have, only God can comfort and restore you to your formal state or even a more better state...

Years ago a friend lost her kids in the Ill fated sosoliso plane crash. They had all the money that can make a person happy on earth, but their Joy was gone. If not for how much of God was inside of them and how they regarded God, they would have concluded that there was no God.

Beloved, make God the source of your Joy. So when all is gone, your Joy will forever remain full..
