We've been together for 3 years.
He knows my entire family. He calls them on phone whenever he wants.
My family especially my father, loves him so much because of the part he plays in my life and my entire family.
I come from an average home where my father doesn't work and my mother is a petty trader.
I am in the University and he helps to pay my fees and also contributes handsomely to the growth of my family and siblings.
My only problem with him, is his attitude towards me.
He doesn't respect me.
He dictates everything I do, monitor my movement and insults my family and how poor we are.
One weekend I went over to his place, he ended up beating me because I came late.
He accused me of branching somewhere else before coming to his place.
I tried explaining to him and in the course of it, we started arguing and it resulted to him insulting my family and calling me names. He beat me and slept with me that night.
I made up my mind it was over.
But considering his support to my education and family, I find it hard to let go.

Don't Let Desperation Hide you.. - by Pastor Kosi Ebirim
It really doesn't make Sense...
You had dreams and aspirations prior to meeting them.
You wanted to be the best in your field.
You wanted to reach out to the world and bless them with your gifts. But No..
All that wasn't possible because the person you are currently dating doesn't flow with it.
He is scared.
What if she becomes richer
What if she begins to disrespect and gain more attention and popularity than me?
That was all he said.
Today, you dare not drive a car as a Single young lady.
You'll be termed ''A Prostitute ''
The shallow man is scared.
How about the part where after marriage you are told to resign and become a House wife? A full time house wife? 😴
Wash dishes(not bad)
take care of the kids(lovely)
cook(great)
wait for your darling husband to return and buy seasoning for the stew(ugly)
You dare not talk about working. He won't take it lightly.
The truth is.
A man that is truly for you, will respect your Vision. Your idea and your dream.
He supports you.
If you find yourself dating a person who is scared of your success and you out-shinning him? Don't try to encourage him to see things differently.
Walk away... 🚶 🚶 🚶
Whatever vision or dream you have for the future, make sure no Relationship talk you out of it.
Don't allow Desperation hide you.
You are Ten times better..

Be Yourself - By Kosi Ebirim
Some of the people you try to impress, don't even notice it. 😢😔
Just be yourself.
Why package yourself just to gain public acceptance?
Recently, I heard you can walk into a shop and buy pads to increase the size of your buttocks.
Some other people go as far as arranging for surgery not to correct some defects, but to increase its size.
For the guys, gaining six packs just to attract a girl keeps them busy in the gym; not because they want to keep fit and be healthy, but to attract the opposite sex.
The truth is! No wise lady would leave a knowledgeable young man who is working hard to succeed and gaining experience at his place of work or fulfilling a goal/vision for a man with six pack. Six pack? Does it put food on the table?
Speaking in church on Sunday, I said and I quote '' Any love that is first based on money, fast food or what to eat, won't last ''
That is to say, if people must accept to be in a Relationship with you, let it be because of how you made them feel. Let it be because of your lovely character. Let it be because you are peaceful and friendly.
If you try to impress them with money and stuffs to eat just to gain acceptance, it won't last.
Just be yourself.

Kneeling down to propose.
Few days ago, I heard some young boys saying they can never knee to propose to a woman they want to marry.
Really?
According to them, how can I knee to propose to a woman when I'm the one to pay bride price and also take care of our home.
My dear young men, Marriage is serious business.
It is an institution ordained by God.
Our Lord Jesus performed His first miracle at a wedding feast In cana where He turned water into wine (You already know the story)
You are not Kneeling to propose because you are stupid, unwise and foolish. No. You are not.
You are saying to her; I cherish you. I adore you. I respect you. I love you. You mean so much to me. I know there are thousands of people out there but you chose to accept me. There are people you met in high school, college etc
There are people you met during nysc. There are people you met and still meet in church, your neighborhood and even In weddings yet, you Accepted me to be your husband and family.
My dear young men. Because you paid bride price doesn't mean that you are king and she is a slave. No.
You are a king and she is your queen.
When you knee before her to propose, you honor her. You cherish her. She loves it and doesn't take it for granted.
Don't allow the words of people who abuse women make you become bitter and violent towards your partner.
Cherish them and they'll never let you down. And you, you'll never regret it.
Is Kneeling down beautiful? Yes.

Tribal sentiment and denominational issue in Marriage - Kosi Ebirim
There are many Marriages that never took place this year because of Tribalism/tribal sentiment and denominational issue.
When we get to Heaven, it won't be about the Church we attended or where we were from!
We are one body in Christ.
No one can stop God's purpose and plan for your life.

Toxic Relationships - By Kosi Ebirim
Reason why people Remain in Toxic Relationships.
1.. What would people say?
2.. We have much plans together; I don't want to spoil it.
3... He/she already introduced me to their family. We've come a long way.
4... He/she will fall ill if I leave them.
These, and many more are reasons why people never move on but remain in Relationships that steal their Joy, peace and frustrate them.
Better single
Than being in a Relationship looking
Battered, frustrated and Humiliated.
You deserve Peace and Happiness
Accept nothing less.

Have a sense of direction by - Kosi Ebirim
Rules you must Respect..
1. Because a lady clicked the Like button on Facebook doesn't mean they want a Relationship with you.
2. Because a man gave you a lift, doesn't mean he must request for your number.
3. Every relationship must not end in marriage? Then don't begin a relationship. Date with a purpose. Stop dating aimlessly without a sense of purpose and direction.
4. If you desire to pay a girls school fees, please do it without expecting marriage from her. Don't go out there saying someone disappointed you. Change is constant.
Don't act stupid, become abusive and expect them to stay because you paid their fees.
5. When a man begins to spend unnecessarily on you, don't act blind. Ask questions. If you have someone in your life already, tell him. If you are not going to date him or marry him, let him know. Let him know you can't be with him. Don't spend his money. You will pay.
6. Stop double dating just to test/confirm which one is best for you. You will land yourself in trouble. Stay with one and plan your life. If you keep going after more than one, others won't let go when you are ready to marry and let go. That is one reason people still cheat with their ex. The moment you find someone serious, let the others go. Build it. Nurture it and see it become better like the very relationship you ever dream of.
7. Don't assume a guy is dating you if he hasn't asked you out. Most guys like that opportunity. To them, you are part time yet, they want someone else.
Take your time. Build friendship. Let him ask you out. Find out if he is genuine before you say yes. And if you say yes, make sure there is a future in that relationship. Don't Date aimlessly.
